After 21 years of trial production, the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps Nongken Academy announced today that the Chinese Merino super fine wool textiles developed by them were successful, and the average fineness of wool was 16.77 microns, which reached the quality of 80 or more tops.

Merino super fine wool is a new breed produced by wool fine gene biological detection technology using Chinese Merino wool. Apart from having the basic fine characteristics of wool in Chinese Merino sheep, it is more prominent that the fineness of wool can reach more than 80 levels, and the length of wool fiber is longer than that of the same 70 Australian wool length. It greatly improves the spinnability and spinning number of domestic wool and reaches the leading level in China, thus filling the blanks of high-quality domestic wool materials in the wool textile industry.

The appearance, handle and physical indexes of wool top made of 80 Merino wool are basically in line with the requirements of 80 imported Australian wool tops. In the process of production and processing, its technological properties and dyeing properties are basically the same as those of 80 imported Australian wool.
