Confirmed by the State Administration of industry and commerce, our city has become the first national demonstration city for trademark strategy implementation.

It is reported that the first identified model cities (districts) in the country, a total of 53, in addition to Ningbo in our province, there are Hangzhou and Shaoxing.

In recent years, the trademark and brand building in our city has been actively promoted. As of the end of last year, there were 52495 registered trademarks, 20 well-known trademarks, 331 famous trademarks in Zhejiang, and 783 famous trademarks in Ningbo, which have been awarded the "brand capital" by the state, and become the pilot cities of national intellectual property demonstration and the first batch of pilot cities in the country.

As a national demonstration city for trademark strategy implementation, our city will enjoy a series of supporting policies such as carrying out training and exchange activities for trademark strategy in the face of demonstration cities, using the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and Trademark Bureau to publicize the demonstration cities, providing reference services for the trademark cities to provide information for trademark registration, providing guidance for the implementation of trademark strategies; guiding and supporting the demonstration cities to carry out the work of "trademark rich peasants"; guiding the market participants in the model cities to apply for registration of geographical indications trademarks and trademarks of agricultural products, timely examining the trademark of geographical indications in the model cities; increasing the trademark registration and protection of the names of the folk culture, folk customs and natural landscapes in the demonstration cities; supporting and helping the demonstration cities to export enterprises to solve the problem of trademark being snatch abroad.
