Hu Jintao: "Let The Masses Of Working People Achieve Decent Work".
The all China Federation of trade unions issued an opinion yesterday, calling on trade unions at all levels to take care of the production and life of workers so as to enable them to live in dignity and achieve decent work.
The reappearance of "decent work" echoed the policy put forward by President Hu Jintao in April this year, that is, "let the broad masses of working people achieve decent work".
According to the first financial daily, decent work is a comprehensive concept, not only to improve the remuneration of laborers, but also to enable workers to get dignity and happiness from labor through humanized management and in place services.
According to figures released by the National Bureau of statistics, by the end of 2008, the total number of employed people in China reached 775 million.
At present, China is in a special period of economic pformation, social pformation and social contradictions. The realization of decent work will effectively alleviate social contradictions.
