Dupont Introduces Light Strong Aramid Fiber
DuPont protection technology recently launched Kevera advanced performance (AP) fiber, which is said to be a product of 15% strength and lighter weight than standard Kevera fiber.
The first product of the new series is Kevlar K29AP.
Kevlar AP fiber can provide greater flexibility for users in automotive, construction, oil and natural gas, ropes, fiber optic cables, utility engineering, and at the same time, it can save costs.
DuPont hopes to generate more innovative products through the recent investment in two kinds of aramid fiber production capacity of Kevlar and Nor Mexes (Nomex).
