A few days ago, the the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Mongolian costume expert group came to Aohan to investigate and preliminarily determined the costumes of Mongolian tribes in Aohan banner.

According to the Aohan Banner Culture Museum, Mongolian costume is one of the 40 pilot projects to protect the intangible cultural heritage. As one of the 28 tribes of the Mongolian nationality in Qing Dynasty, the clothing pattern of Aohan banner has always been the goal of the experts in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

In the spring of 2010, during the survey of intangible cultural heritage, Aohan banner cultural museum discovered that the Mongolia robes and headwear worn by the upper Mongolian women in the Qing Dynasty were distinctly different from the tribal costumes of the surrounding areas. The costumes were exquisite in workmanship, exquisite in materials, and vivid in embroidery, reflecting the costume making skills of the Aohan Mongolian tribes at that time. They could be identified as the Mongolian tribal costumes of Aohan banner.

According to the briefing, the the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region expert group will reproduce the costumes and display them at this year's the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region prairie Cultural Festival.
