According to Broadcasting British Corporation (BBC) recently reported that smart clothing can help people cope with the pressures of modern social life.
Barbara Ryan of Concordia University in Canada and Professor Janis Jeffries of Goldsmiths University in University of London jointly sewed the smart clothing.
It consists of textiles and different kinds of wireless sensors.

These sensors can track many specific biomarkers, such as temperature, heart rate, respiration and skin electrical response, and collect relevant data.

It can also connect to the network-based database through the smart phone. The database will analyze the data. If the user is found in a special emotional state, the database will send songs and pictures to the clothes to change the user's emotional state.
To do this, the smart clothing is equipped with a LED display and loudspeaker.
The display can display rolling text or simple pictures. Loudspeakers can play music, voice, information recorded by friends or family members repeatedly.
