13, reporters learned from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, as of now, Zhejiang household appliances sales have reached 7 billion 658 million yuan.

The sales of household appliances for the old account for more than 60% of the total sales of five types of household appliances, such as TV sets, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners and computers, and become the biggest driving force for the consumption of these five types of household appliances.

Statistics from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce show that since the start of household appliances exchange in August 2009, 2 million 96 thousand and 400 household appliances have been recovered in Zhejiang, and 1 million 700 thousand have been sent to dismantling them.

The household appliance exchange has been well received by consumers. Its sales volume is equivalent to the total retail sales of social consumer goods in the province, which has increased by nearly 1 percentage points, far exceeding the original 4 billion yuan forecast.

In addition to promoting consumption, Zhejiang's household appliances have played a role in "urban mining" and promoted the recycling of renewable resources.

According to the calculation, after the dismantling of 2 million 96 thousand and 400 used household appliances, 1040 tons of plastic, 6270 tons of iron, 130 tons of copper and 78 tons of aluminum can be obtained.

It is reported that the household appliances exchange in Zhejiang will be extended to the next year in December 31st according to the relevant policies promulgated by the state, and the subsidy standard will continue to be used last year.

Beginning in June 13th, Zhejiang's household appliances will continue to be held in all parts of the province.
