The reporter learned from the Shantou inspection and quarantine bureau that from January 1st this year, 354 items of infant and children's clothing, shirts, pajamas, swimsuits, household appliances and sanitary appliances will be included in the statutory inspection catalogue.

The "catalogue of legal inspection" is adjusted to import and export.

And clothing adjustment is the most powerful. It abolished 245 HS coded primary textiles, and added 305 HS codes to import and export textile and garment products.
The Shantou inspection and Quarantine Bureau reminded all import and export enterprises in the area that, from January 1, 2009, the import and export goods pferred to the catalogue of legal inspection must go through customs declaration procedures with the entry and exit customs declaration issued by the inspection and quarantine organ.
The import and export goods pferred out of the catalogue of the legal inspection will no longer go through customs formalities for entry and exit customs clearance.
