According to Taiwan media reports, Du Zijun, director of the Ministry of economic affairs, said that Taiwan's trade in the early harvest list of Taiwan's economic structure agreement (ECFA) included: petrochemicals, textile upstream, auto components, bicycles and components, machinery and equipment, iron and steel, bags, clothing, underwear, socks, agricultural products (imported from mainland China, not opening the mainland), accounting for about 12% of Taiwan's annual trade volume with the mainland.

According to reports, Du Zijun said that Taiwan included in the early harvest list items. The first category is the main industry of Taiwan's larger export volume, including petrochemicals, textile upper and middle reaches, transportation vehicles, bicycles and components, automotive components, machinery and equipment, iron and steel.

The second category is to win more small and medium-sized enterprises and traditional industries to the mainland, adding bags, clothing, underwear, socks and other items. Although the trade volume is small, it helps SMEs expand the market.

As for the third category, Du Zijun said that the two sides had agreed that the mainland's agricultural products would not come to Taiwan. But Taiwan also strives for the sale of Taiwan's characteristic agricultural products to the mainland. The mainland side also agreed to open some of its agricultural products to the mainland and enjoy tax relief.
