South Thames College in South London has opened a new class of "thundermen", which teaches girls how to walk in high heels. What is even more surprising is that the course was also funded by the government. People are criticizing this as a waste of taxpayers' hard-earned money.

The school spent a total of 750 pounds (about 7591 yuan) to invite professional singer and Chai Winnie, author of "the art of wearing high heels".

Winnie claimed that she was miserable when she first came out of society, because no one taught her how to wear high heels when she was young, which made her often fall and make a fool of herself. Some students also feel that this course is very necessary. Terry, a 16 year old student who has completed the course, said: "it doesn't hurt to go out to play at night, because I know what exercises to do in advance. I can finally wear high heels.

However, many educators have condemn such a "ridiculous" course, Wood, the boss of an education and training company. "It sounds like the most worthless course in Britain. It just caters to people's vanity and wastes time and money."
