The French Pavilion Welcomed The Fashion Design And Fashion Week In June.
France's textile daily reported recently that the pavilion of the French Pavilion in Paris, Paris and the Paris chamber of Commerce and industry will usher in fashion design and fashion week from June 26th to July 2nd. Paris municipal government has carefully selected 5 enterprises to represent them, covering an area of 600 square meters. The exhibitors include the French Esmod International Fashion Design Institute, the world-famous Paris design studio Nelly Rodi, the young designer Eym Le Burgaud, the fashion concept brand Ethos and the Scharly designer studio.
The Scharly studio will display its environmentally friendly design and recyclable products for indoor and outdoor furniture, the report said.
Founded in 1841 by Alexis Lavigne, Esmod International Fashion Design Institute is the oldest Fashion Institute in the world. In 2004, it came to China to open the first fashion Institute in Beijing. Over the years, Esmod has provided new ideas for its trainees, especially the new concepts of sustainable development and environmental protection.
Nelly Rodi Paris design studio has settled in China since 2003, and is a partner of China Fashion Design Association.
Young designer Eym leBurgaud is a graduate of the former Esmod Fashion Institute and won the 2009 Creativity Award.
The Ethos brand was founded in 2002. It mainly made use of biological cotton as its raw material to create fashionable clothes. It has made great achievements in the past 3 years. Its turnover increased by 65% in 2008, and increased by 42% in 2009. It is expected to grow 60% this year.
Reported that since the beginning of May in World Expo, the French Pavilion receives more than 20 thousand visitors per day.
The head of the Paris region hopes that French fashion design and fashion week can attract more visitors.
