Summer is the best season for T-shirts. The Xi'an Quality Supervision Bureau announced the results of spot checks on such products, of which 20% were unqualified.

The main unqualified items are fiber content and color fastness to rubbing.

The spot checks were conducted in some shopping malls, supermarkets and stores in Xi'an. A total of 39 batches of samples were collected, 32 batches were qualified, and the pass rate of physical quality was 82.1%.

The sample involves 19 commercial enterprises in this city.

The inspection items are identification, pH value, color fastness to rubbing, acid fastness to perspiration, alkali fastness to perspiration, and fiber content of 6.

The main unqualified items are fiber content and color fastness to rubbing.

Unqualified fiber content is actually a kind of deception to consumers, some enterprises are inferior, and the low-grade fiber is labeled as high-grade fiber.

Unqualified color fastness to rubbing will cause the product to fade, and the dye will enter the human body and cause harm to human health.

The Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau has imposed administrative penalties such as fines and other administrative penalties for the enterprises selling non conforming products, and cleared the unqualified products out of the market.

The distribution enterprises should be ordered to strengthen the inspection of incoming goods, and the supervision of the quality of T-shirts should be further strengthened.
