2011 spring and summer Paris men's wear week opened on the evening of 23. A new survey released by the French fashion Research Institute on the same day shows that young French men love fashion as much as women do.

The survey shows that in France, men and women under the age of 30 spend almost the same amount of clothing, while French men, aged 25 to 29, are even more generous in buying than women.

According to the survey, cowboy clothing is the favorite of young French men. They are the most popular clothing products.

Moreover, when young men buy clothing, they demand more brands than women. They will not buy brands that they do not like or are not familiar with because of price factors.

The survey also shows that French men over 45 years old are less enthusiastic and demanding in fashion than young people, and traditional suits and windbreaker are their favorite.
