Shri. A.Sakthivel, President of the India Rupp Exporters Association (TEA), said he had written to Shri Najib Shah, I.R.S., the Joint Secretary of the Inland Revenue Department and customs (rebate), asking for the implementation of the EDI system in ICD (international cooperation and Development Organization), CFS (container freight station) and pedicle Rupp CONCOR (India container company).

He said, we draw attention to the fact that the EDI system has not been implemented in ICD, CFS, and pedicle Rupp CONCOR, although it has been committed to entry into force in May 2010.

For this reason,

The exporter still needs to fill in the bill of lading according to the manual system, which has affected the export.

He said, we are willing to take the key point directly, that is, exporters have been complaining about the loss of the bill of lading, which also delayed their tax refund after the completion of the manual system export.

In view of this, we invite you to kindly suggest that officials implement EDI system in ICD, CFS and Rupp CONCOR as early as possible, so as to reduce the trouble of exporters and help them concentrate on expanding their exports.
