Recently, on the basis of full investigation and research, the CPPCC of Wangdu County of Hebei province submitted to the county and county governments the investigation and thinking about the sustainable development of the shoemaking industry in the county. The footwear industry in Wangdu started in the early 80s of last century. As a pillar industry in the county economy, it played an important role in promoting the county's economic and social development.

In May this year, the research group of the county CPPCC organized in-depth research on some functional departments, shoe concentrated towns and some shoe making enterprises, and initially clarified the basic situation of shoe industry development in the whole county. It puts forward the following suggestions: formulating industry development plans, building shoes industrial parks, establishing footwear industry associations, creating shoes producing areas and product brands, supporting and cultivating backbone enterprises, and optimizing the development environment of enterprises.
