The exhibition is an international large-scale textile and garment exhibition sponsored by the Russian government, the Russian textile group and the Russian light industry group.

The exhibition was held by UFI International Exhibition Federation and Russia.

The league is eligible for only 600 exhibitions worldwide.

The Russian Federation Moscow International Light Textile Exposition is the largest professional textile exhibition held in Russian Federation and even Eastern Europe by Textilexp. It has been certified by UFI (International Exhibition Federation). It has been held two times in spring and autumn every year and has successfully held 31 sessions in spring 2008.
