The only national engineering laboratory, the modern silk National Engineering Laboratory, was unveiled at the new campus of Soochow University.

The complete silk industry chain of Soochow University is pregnant with the only national engineering laboratory in Jiangsu province and the domestic textile and silk industry.

Its silk research ranks the top in the national universities.

Soochow University has made full use of this unique advantage and has carried out many pioneering studies in the field of silk research and development, and has achieved fruitful results and has taken the lead in industrialization.
