The Grand Prix is sponsored by China Leather Association and Haining leather city of China.

The theme of this competition is "creative age". The competition is divided into two stages: preliminary and final.

In the preliminary stage, the design effect chart competition will be carried out, and the final stage will be performed in the form of live model.

There were 1 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals and 2 individual awards in the competition.

At present, the application phase of the competition has ended. There are more than 1000 student designers from more than 50 famous institutions of higher learning, including China Academy of fine arts, Tsinghua University, China Central Academy of nationalities, etc., to sign up and submit the draft. The preliminary contest will start in early May, and the national finals will be held in early July.
