New Label Law Issued By Indonesia Relates To Footwear Products

A labeling law was recently issued, which mainly deals with the distribution and sale of non food products in the Indonesian market.

The imported products and domestic products must be printed in neiwen, and contain relevant information, which includes product name or brand name, local product name and address of manufacturer, importer's name and address, and country of origin.
According to the product categories listed in the appendix, household appliances, communications, information technology equipment, building materials, motor vehicle raw materials (parts), and footwear, leather goods and clothing are included.

The effective date of the regulation is July 2010, and for the existing products sold and sold in the country, the effective date is December 2010.
According to the Yiwu inspection and Quarantine Bureau, as of mid June of this year, Yiwu has completed the 175 batch of goods exported to Indonesia, with a trade volume of US $about 4400000.
Compared with last year, the number of goods exported to Indonesia increased by nearly ten percentage points.
The export commodities are mainly light industrial products, textile products and mechanical and electrical products.
