MIIT: Textile Industry To High-End Field Pfer
The Ministry of industry and Commerce announced the guiding opinions on promoting the pfer of textile industry 2 days ago. It proposed that the eastern region should give full play to the advantages of market, talent, capital and information, and guide the textile industry to shift to high-end fields and speed up the pace of industrial upgrading.
The opinions put forward that we should pform traditional industries with high and new technologies, upgrade the level of the existing textile industrial clusters, develop high technology, high value-added, fashionable and differentiated end product manufacturing industries, and develop capital intensive, technology intensive, high technology fiber, industrial textiles and textile machinery manufacturing industry.
The paper points out that spinning should be done through merger and reorganization or new investment.

Some of the manufacturing links will be pferred to the central and western regions and Northeast China with a certain industrial base; cooperation with textile enterprises in the Midwest and Northeast China should be strengthened; the dominant textile enterprises should be encouraged to strengthen their docking with the textile enterprises in the Midwest and Northeast China by means of technology and management.
