The Liaoning Provincial Department of science and technology recently organized a scientific and technological achievements appraisal meeting at Dalian Polytechnic University, and appraise the achievements of the anhydrous dyeing technology project.

The technology was completed by the expert group led by Sun Jinliang, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering. It broke through the traditional dyeing problems such as water medium and serious environmental pollution, and achieved clean production without pollution and zero emissions. It fundamentally solved the common key problems of serious pollution and high energy consumption in the textile dyeing and finishing industry.

According to expert prediction, with the popularization and application of this technology, China's textile and dyeing industry can save 1 billion to 1 billion 500 million cubic meters per year.
