The footwear industry ISO/TC216 technical standard working conference was held recently in Wenzhou.

The technical director of AOKANG, red dragonfly, Tamar and Augustus five shoe companies as members of the group participated in the discussion of 6 parameters, including the antibacterial properties of shoes, the bending of sole and the limit of harmful substances.
Qi Xiaoxia, Secretary General of the national footwear Standardization Technical Committee, believes that the formulation of international standards can demonstrate the strength of Wenzhou shoe enterprises and help them effectively avoid technical barriers in international trade in the future.

Shoe enterprises
We have been actively participating in the discussion and formulation of relevant standards in the domestic footwear industry. When they learned that Chinese footwear enterprises were eligible to participate in the formulation of ISO/TC216 technical standards, they actively applied and passed the examination, and successfully entered the competition.
It is reported that the results of this meeting will be submitted to the next round of meeting held in Milan, Italy this November 18th to discuss and vote.
