Compared with the provisional procurement regulations, the revised procurement procedures include:

1. in accordance with the November 2009 resolutions and findings (including 5 years' review requirements), restrictions on the procurement of aromatic aramid fibers (including long and short fibers) and filament to aromatic amide yarns, qualified national made of aramid fibers and yarns.

2. clarifies the definition of "qualified state" as the state that has already discussed the memorandum of bilateral mutual defense procurement with the US Department of defense.

Added: since August 1st, the supplementary agreement on trade in services in the China Chile Free Trade Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the agreement) has been implemented. Chile's 37 branches and branches of distribution, mining, tourism and real estate have been further opened to China.

In July 30th, from the Quanzhou entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau, it was learned that by 2011, the vast majority of products exported to Chile will be reduced to zero in Quanzhou, and the "zero tariff" concession has also attracted more and more Quanzhou enterprises to "nugget" in Chile.

According to statistics, in the first half of this year, the Quanzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau issued 269 copies of the certificate of origin issued to Chile, with a visa amount of US $11 million 630 thousand, representing an increase of 14% and 42% respectively over the same period.

According to introduction, in October 1, 2006, the China Chile Free Trade Agreement was put into effect.

According to the agreement, the import tariff of 74% of the tariff of the intellectual party will be reduced to zero immediately after the entry into force of the agreement, and the import duties of other products shall be reduced to zero within 5 and 10 years after the entry into force of the agreement.

Both parties reserve only 3% of the tax items as an exceptional product and keep the original tariff unchanged.

"The largest number of products exported to Chile in Quanzhou are footwear. Compared with the high tariffs before the signing of the free trade agreement, local importers have greatly reduced the tariff burden."

Quanzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau responsible person said that Chile's local consumption level is similar to that of China. Most of the consumer goods rely on imports. With the gradual lowering of the tariff threshold in Chile, Quanzhou's exports of shoes and machinery to Chile have increased rapidly in recent years, and Chile has gradually become one of Quanzhou's important export markets.
