From spinning, weaving to garment processing, and enterprises fighting for themselves, it is difficult to embody the advantages of cluster, let alone the overall competitiveness of domestic industry with comparative advantages.

By the end of 2008, Huayang textile and Garment Co., Ltd., one of the leading clothing enterprises in Dandong, built its own weaving factory.

In September 2009, the company also registered Huaxing Textile Co., Ltd., invested more than 80 million yuan in printing and dyeing base in Dandong waterless printing and dyeing industrial park, located in Wu Ying Village, the Yalu River Street office, Zhen An district.

What is the reason that prompted Huayang to enter the upstream related industries and take the initiative to make up the printing and dyeing "short board" with higher environmental threshold? Yu Wenfu, director of the company, told reporters that enterprises should elongate the product chain to reduce the cost and control the quality and delivery time of products. Extending the anhydrous printing and dyeing industry chain, integrating relevant resources to build Dandong anhydrous printing and dyeing industrial park, has won the support of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government.

In April 22nd of this year, the first industrial alliance of Dandong - the Dandong anhydrous printing and dyeing industry alliance was formally established, marking the new stage of the industrial cooperation and development in Dandong's anhydrous printing and dyeing industry.

With more and more enterprises adopting this technology, Dandong's textile printing and dyeing industry is becoming more and more green, low-carbon and environmental protection.

The Dandong anhydrous printing and dyeing industrial park, which covers an area of about 1.88 square kilometers, will rely on textile auxiliaries and waterless printing and dyeing technology. Based on functional fabrics, it will drive the relevant printing and dyeing equipment, textile, printing and dyeing, garment industries to become stronger and bigger, and form a group of specialized supporting enterprises and industrial clusters. It will be used in 3 to 5 years to build a national level waterless printing and dyeing base with ten billion yuan output value.

Municipal Commission for information and related responsible person briefed reporters that the municipal and municipal governments have included the anhydrous printing and dyeing industrialization projects in the city's key supporting projects for two consecutive years. Jiangsu Yujie Construction Group intends to take part in the infrastructure construction of the park; Dalian brilliance new Mstar Technology Ltd is registered in Dan, ready to enter the park to produce highly efficient and energy-saving sewage treatment equipment, supporting enterprises in the park; Dandong Zhongshan clothing, Kemi knitting and bang Wei weaving and other Dandong local weaving and garment enterprises also hope to enter the park development.

Many other textile and knitting enterprises have come to negotiate, and are ready to directly build textile factories in the park, printing and dyeing locally.

Yue Yanjun, deputy director of the Yalu River sub district office of Zhen An District, told reporters that they initially planned the park as 4 functional areas: auxiliaries, printing and dyeing areas, textile areas, garment processing areas and equipment manufacturing areas.

Among them, the auxiliary printing and dyeing area in the key position of the industrial chain is based on the existing stellar group and the Huaxing Textile Company under construction.

At present, the star group is working with the Jin pill group and the Shenyang Institute of automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in order to intensify the development and trial of intelligent waterless dyeing and printing equipment.

Huaxing Textile Company has also speeded up the construction progress of the two printing and dyeing production lines.

It is estimated that the above items will be dyed 15 thousand tons and printed about 6 million meters annually, and the annual output value will reach 1 billion yuan.

At that time, the radiation effect of the park will be even more significant. Through the upstream and downstream supporting enterprises, the production and sales volume of high-end products such as special functional fabrics, clothing and intelligent waterless dyeing and printing equipment will be further increased, and the textile and garment industry chain will be extended to the high end.
