Beijing Sold 26 Billion 780 Million Yuan Wear Goods In The First Half Of The Year.
Xu Kang, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce, revealed yesterday that in the first half of this year, the products of wearing commodities were realized.

According to the Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce, consumer spending on clothing in the first 6 months of this year increased by 13.9% compared with the same period last year.

Clothing accounted for 10.84% of the per capita consumption expenditure, an increase of 0.29 percentage points over the first half of 2009.
"Even though the consumer market in Beijing has been affected by the financial crisis in recent two years, consumers still maintain a strong purchasing power for wearing products."

According to statistics, the sales of clothing products in large retail department stores in Beijing in 2009 exceeded 50% of the annual sales volume of the enterprises.
