The shoe industry is facing the REACH regulations.
Reporters recently learned from the relevant departments that the EU REACH regulations have officially entered the stage of registration and implementation. The implementation of this law will make the shoe exporting enterprises in Shishi and Minnan areas seriously hit by the new round of trade barriers.

Customs, inspection and quarantine departments reminded our export shoe enterprises to complete relevant registration before November 30th this year, otherwise they will be rejected by the European Union.
Shishi has many shoe manufacturers selling products to the EU market.
The relevant departments remind these enterprises to familiarise themselves with the REACH regulations as soon as possible, and to respond in advance. "The implementation of the new regulations will also force enterprises to seek higher standard raw materials and lead to higher production costs."
Business executives from the wooden shoes and shoes and golf shoes industry think that this will make some small export enterprises unable to undertake, which may cause their products to be forced to withdraw from the EU market.
