Zhang Yu, deputy director of the Hebei Provincial Department of industry and information technology, said that there were three industries in Hebei that had not yet completed the elimination task: the elimination of ironmaking capacity of 4 million 560 thousand tons, accounting for 45.6% of the tasks, and the elimination of steelmaking capacity of 1 million 80 thousand tons, accounting for 54% of the tasks, eliminating coking capacity 1 million 110 thousand tons, accounting for 88% of the tasks.
