With regard to the revision of the standard of jacket, our reporter interviewed Shi Qin, director of Standardization Office of Shanghai Institute of clothing.

Shi Qin said: "the standard of this jacket will be changed in the same direction, only in some details and indicators, and strive to make a bright spot."

Regarding the contents of this amendment, Shi Qin said that on the one hand, advanced technology that would help improve production efficiency should be added to it, and on the other hand, the production should be adjusted according to the market environment.

Shi Qin said that the national garment Standardization Technical Committee has set up a jacket working group in the Limited by Share Ltd, which is composed of more than ten experts.

Reporters learned that the jacket standard was first formulated in 1981, and two times in 1994 and 2004.

In recent years, in order to resist trade technical barriers in developed countries, the formulation and revision of the garment industry standards also refer to the technical regulations and standards of ecological textiles in developed countries, especially the technical requirements of environmental protection, safety and hygiene.

The "jacket" standard, which was revised in 2004, increased the limit of formaldehyde emission limits and pH limits for finished products.

New standards should be accurately understood.

It is understood that the Secretariat of the national garment Standardization Committee is affiliated to the Shanghai Clothing Research Institute, which is responsible for the formulation and revision of the 5 Garment Standards in this plan.

The final report was jointly completed by the Shanghai Clothing Research Institute and other major drafting enterprises.

Improper tracking of garment standards will lead to errors in standard usage.

However, the poor implementation of the standard in the production of enterprises leads to the situation of unqualified products.

On the eve of "3. 15" in 2007, a special sampling inspection result of the Zhejiang Bureau of industry and Commerce showed that the lining of the "berbere" jacket was labeled as 100% polyester, measuring 100% viscose, and the "Hugo Bos" jacket was marked with 100% cotton and 100% Dacron. The fiber content of the garment label was not consistent with the actual measurement.

The "Dupont" jacket is obviously acidic, and the pH value is not qualified.

To solve this problem, Shi Qin said, "we will set up a new standard training course in major garment industry clusters across the country to help enterprises understand the new standards accurately."

According to press reports, the first batch of industry standards formulated and revised by the State Ministry of industry and Commerce in 2010 has been revised, and 2620 projects have been arranged, covering 147 industries including textile, chemical industry, iron and steel, building materials, nonferrous metals, aviation, light industry, electronics and so on. There are 147 standards in the textile industry, including 144 items of product standard, 3 items of energy saving and comprehensive utilization.

These standards will be formulated around the standardization task requirements of the textile industry adjustment and revitalization plan.
