Exports to the major markets in the United States increased significantly, surpassing the overall recovery trend in the US market, and at the same time, the growth rate exceeded that of other competing countries.
India's export growth began to maintain strong momentum at the beginning of this year, and exports increased substantially in April.
The latest export forecast data in June showed that apparel and non clothing exports were jumping rapidly.
According to data from the US textile and clothing office (OTEXA), the value of textiles and clothing exports to the United States increased by 35% in June, ranking the top of the list of major export countries. The growth rate in India was much higher than that in Vietnam, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Mexico and even China.
From -6 months in January, the total export growth was 14%, lower than that of China's 18% growth, but higher than that of most other competing countries.
According to the export value calculated from the beginning of the year, Vietnam now has a slightly ahead of India in the US market, ranking first in China.
