Many mainland department stores will go to Taiwan to investigate, hoping to find manufacturers that are suitable for setting up counters in the mainland.
It is reported that after the signing of the economic cooperation agreement (ECFA) between the two sides, the textile industry incorporating the early checklist will also find business opportunities for each other.
Huang Weiji, Secretary General of the Textile Development Association, said yesterday before the exhibition that department stores including central China, Hunan, Hubei, Northeast China and Shanghai will visit Taipei's charm exhibition to see if they can find some small and exquisite ones in Taiwan.
