The theme of this JEANSWEST cup competition is "green action". 6125 entries were received, and the number of participants and contributors exceeded all previous competitions, of which 1362 were received in the northern part of the competition.

This year's Northern Division competition is the first choice to cooperate with the office of China (Dalian) International Garment and Textile Fair, and will be organised during the Dalian international garment Expo.

Yang Qibin, chairman of Hongkong Fashion Designers Association, Deng Dazhi, the famous fashion designer of Hongkong, Wang Yutao, design director of Zhongshan Zhong Bai Garments Co., Ltd., Liu Wei, chief executive of Beijing Shanshan rose Daiwei Garments Co., Ltd., Zhou Hong, chief designer Zhou Hong, and Hau Ning, chief editor of bazaar men, were invited to be the contest judges.

After rigorous assessment, the Organizing Committee of the competition concluded that 5 players were selected for the finals. Zhou Bingjie, a student at the clothing Institute of Dalian Polytechnic University, won the first prize by "heart and breath".

It is reported that the "China JEANSWEST cup casual wear design competition" was jointly sponsored by China Fashion Association, China Fashion Designers Association and JEANSWEST International (Hongkong) Co., Ltd., and has successfully held 18 sessions since its start in 1993.
