Shoes are more memorable

Tszuji.co.uk, the UK's shoe accessories website, commissioned the survey to ask more than 1000 women about their shoes and compare their memories of their shoes and past emotional experiences.

According to the survey, more than 92% of respondents remember the first pair of shoes they paid for, while less than 2/3 remembered the names of their first kisses.

In addition, 96% of the respondents regret that they had thrown away a pair of shoes, but only 15% of them were sad to shake off a boyfriend.

"These results show that women are more attached to shoes than previously thought," the British Daily Telegraph quoted Glendon Lloyd, director of the website, 15.

It is generally believed that women collect old love letters in shoeboxes, but in many cases, shoes are more valuable.

"Women regard shoes as their best friends, and their memories of shoes are more lasting than those of old lovers," Lloyd said.

Buying shoes habits

Some experts have analyzed that women's love for shoes stems from their habit of buying shoes.

Many women buy new shoes for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays or other gatherings.

Previous surveys have found that each woman buys 4 pairs of new shoes a year on average, plus some women who "never give up" on their old shoes.

According to the survey, an average woman has 19 pairs of shoes, but usually only 4 pairs of them are worn, and 1/4 of the shoes are worn only once.

In addition, about 1/6 of women have more than 30 pairs of shoes, and 1/3 of women do not find places to store shoes.

Most women say buying shoes will not cause economic pressure on them.

1/7 of women hide their new shoes secretly with their partners on their backs.

However, the "love shoe family" also has a rational side. About 6 of women have regretted buying a pair of shoes.
