A delegation led by the Committee visited China on -12 September 4th, and they listened to China.

The introduction of the officials also introduced to the Chinese cotton industry the latest situation of the US cotton industry.
Since the US cotton association (NCC) and the China Cotton Association (CCA) have identified the Sino US cotton industry leadership exchange program, this is the fourth visit of the US cotton delegation to China.
The visit is part of the ongoing exchanges between the two countries. The two countries signed a memorandum of understanding in 2006 to undertake cooperation between the two countries' cotton industry.
During his stay in Beijing, members of the delegation listened to the China Cotton Association and the Chinese state.

In Hebei Province, members visited the Shuo Feng farm product company of Gaoyang County, where they visited farms, a cotton variety research center, a ginning factory and a new textile mill of Hongrun.
In Tianjin, the delegation visited the Tianjin cotton trading market, the eastern Xinjiang free trade area, the entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau, and the Tianjin Tianfanfg textile mill, which is the US cotton Licensee.
In Hangzhou, the delegation visited JNBY and three yuan textile mill. They also visited the office of the International Cotton Association (CCI) and the Cotton Corp of the United States in Shanghai.
Parke, vice president of CCI, said that one of the main objectives of the visit was to convey to Chinese cotton industry officials that the US cotton industry will continue to abide by its commitments and provide timely high-quality cotton.
"China is the largest customer of raw cotton in the United States, and we are committed to meeting the needs of Chinese customers, both in terms of quality and in time delivery," Parke said.
"Obviously, China highly appreciates our visit to China. They say they are very willing to do business with the US cotton industry.
This visit provides us with a platform to explore the quality of raw cotton in the United States and how to continue to abide by commitments in the current dialogue mechanism between the two countries.
