The supplier of nylon 6, engineering fabric, sewing thread fiber and advanced materials will expand the production capacity of its high modulus and low shrinkage (high modulus and low shrinkage HMLS) polyester fiber and fabric in Kaiping, China, to meet the growing demand in China and the world.
The company reported that the expanded production capacity will be used to produce and convert the latest generation of polyester fibers. The latest generation of polyester fibers will be applied to tire reinforcement and other industrial uses. The expanded capacity will double production of polyester and expand its coverage in the next 12-18 months.
