Vice Minister Yi Xiaozhun said on 15 th that China will actively encourage and expand imports and gradually realize the balanced development of imports and exports.
On the opening ceremony of the "2010 China (Shanghai) international pnational procurement conference", Yi pointed out that the long-term trade imbalance is neither a policy choice nor a sustainable development of foreign trade.
To this end, China has adopted a series of policies and measures, including reducing import tariffs, implementing import facilitation, expanding the zero tariff treatment of the least developed countries, and strengthening import promotion activities, and achieved remarkable results.

He said that accelerating the pformation of the mode of foreign trade development is not only the inherent requirement of China's pformation of the mode of economic development, but also the fundamental way to pform from a trading power to a trading power.

According to its introduction, China will deeply tap the potential of traditional service trade such as pportation, tourism and architecture, increase export efficiency and add value, vigorously support new exports of services such as culture, finance, software and information services, and actively undertake the shift of international service industry and expand the scale of service outsourcing.
