Since the beginning of this year, Qingtian has actively utilized various platforms and attracting carriers to foster the main body, guide and encourage enterprises to open up international markets, and achieved good results in foreign trade and export.
According to statistics, in 1-8 months, the total import and export volume of Qingtian county was 163 million 334 thousand and 600 US dollars, an increase of 16.2% over the 140 million 560 thousand US dollars in the same period last year, of which the total export volume of self operated enterprises was 144 million 409 thousand and 600 US dollars, up 32.06% from the 109 million 350 thousand US dollars in the same period last year.
The director of charge of foreign trade work of the county economic and Trade Bureau said that although the overall situation of foreign trade export is good, in particular, the product structure of Qingtian's foreign trade export is not reasonable. Low clothing and footwear account for half of the total, and the depreciation of the euro and other factors, it is urgent to adjust the structure of export products and increase the effective production oriented exporters.
