Based on the comprehensive consideration of experts, the organizing committee conscientiously studied and finalized the plan of the Guangzhou Asian Games opening and closing ceremony center based on the Olympic Games company.
In the coming time, the creative production team will closely cooperate with the Guangzhou Asian organizing committee and set up a distinctive cultural feature based on the cultural orientation of the Guangzhou Asian Games opening and closing ceremony, which is based on Chinese culture, integrating Asian culture and highlighting south of the Five Ridges culture.

A total of 43 gold medals will be produced in four projects of the three co operation cities, accounting for 9% of the total gold medal of the Asian Games.
In 2010, there were three co operation cities in Guangzhou Asian Games: Foshan, Shanwei and Dongguan.
Dongguan
Dongguan will undertake the weightlifting competition and will produce 15 gold medals.
Foshan
Foshan will host two events in boxing and synchronized swimming, which will produce 14 gold medals.
Shanwei
Shanwei will produce 14 gold medals for sailing competitions.
