Trademark Review System It is an important part of the trademark law system. In August 23, 1982, the Trademark Law of the five session of the twenty-fourth Standing Committee of the National People's Congress established the existing trademark review system. The twentieth law provides that the State Council's administrative department for Industry and Commerce shall establish a trademark review and Adjudication Board, which is responsible for handling trademark disputes. According to this regulation, the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board was established in August 11, 1983 and is subordinate to the State Administration for Industry and commerce, which is parallel to the trademark office.

In 2001, the trademark law continued to stipulate the Trademark Review System in the revision of the trademark law. The Trademark Review and Adjudication Board is an administrative law enforcement agency, but according to the law, the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board independently exercises jurisdiction over trademark review matters, and is not affected by administrative or other factors. In addition to the provisions of the law, the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board tries to implement a collegial system for trademark dispute cases, and a collegial panel composed of trademark assessors shall hear the case. The collegiate panel tried cases and implemented the principle of minority obedience to the majority. The Trademark Review and Adjudication Board shall try to hear a trademark dispute case in written form, but the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board may decide to conduct a public review according to the request or actual need of the parties concerned.

Second the Trademark Office of the State Council Administration for Industry and commerce is in charge of the registration and administration of trademarks throughout the country.

The Trademark Review and Adjudication Board of the State Council's administrative department for Industry and Commerce shall be responsible for handling trademark disputes.

Trademark review rules

The seventh Trademark Review and Adjudication Board deals with trademark review matters, adopts the system of voting by members, and follows the principle of "minority obeying the majority".

Eighth Trademark Review and Adjudication Board shall conduct written hearing on trademark review matters.
