The new area of textile and garment industry planning covers an area of 3000 mu, integrating textile, washing, printing, dyeing, clothing and sewage treatment.
At present, Chen Gui Town has raised 50 million yuan to improve the infrastructure such as water, electricity, road and pipeline network in order to create a favorable environment for development.
The first batch of textile and garment items was invested by 640 million companies, including Guangzhou Hao Sheng Textile and Garment Co., Ltd., Foshan Nanhai Xiqiao de Weiye Canadian weaving and Weaving Co., Ltd., including garments, which are popular with young men and women, and so on.
It is understood that the first batch of projects will be completed and put into operation in October 2011.
After commissioning, it is expected that 3000 people will be employed to promote the development of related industries in Daye.
