A delegation of 8 Italian company representatives is currently visiting Tunisia, which is part of the state's efforts to promote relations with Italian company.


The main purpose of this visit to Tunisia is to focus on what kind of contribution Italy can make to Tunisia's textile and clothing industry.


The visit was organized by the export promotion centre of Tunisia.

During the visit, representatives of the Italian company looked forward to meeting with Tunisian representatives, who operated textile and garment industries in 56 different regions.

Companies in Italy may recognize the prospects of partnership, the areas of cooperation, and prepare to establish business relations with Tunisian companies.


In Tunisia's textile and clothing export market, Italy ranks second.

In 2009, Tunisia's exports of textiles and clothing to the Italy market accounted for 31.4% of the total exports.
