Hongkong born Liu Jianwen (Michael Lau) liked painting since he was young. He was originally a designer and worked in an advertising company.
Michael Lau began to engage in fine arts. Michael Lau once held a personal exhibition in Hongkong, and also won the most promising artist award. Later, Michael Lau felt that the art community was only a small circle of toys and could not make more people appreciate it, so it was pformed to design dolls.
