In recent years, according to the state's "East Mulberry shift" industrial adjustment strategy, while stabilizing sericulture base, actively changing the development mode, summarizing the production mode, successively introducing 8 scientific and technological achievements, assembling 5 scientific and technological achievements, building 3060 sericultural greenhouses in the county, popularizing 5000 sets of labor-saving silkworms, and 3 million pieces of the square family, and developed 5 series of 20 products, such as silkworm health care pillow, silk quilt, silk protein noodles, mulberry leaf tea, silkworm chrysalis feed, and so on, forming a new industrial income increasing channel for multipurpose utilization of resources.

At the same time, the sericulture culture has been actively developed in the county, and the sericultural exhibition hall, which integrates seedling raising, planting mulberry, silkworm rearing, reeling and by-products, has attracted visitors from both inside and outside the province, and has become a green brand with local characteristics.
