Belgium VIT Nonwovens Announced Higher Prices In 2011

The VITA nonwovens Department announced that it would be right in early 2011.

The price is raised by 6%-12%.
Since the second quarter of 2010, our raw materials (polyester staple fiber PSF - viscose staple and viscose staple) have been increased by 15% to 30% based on different fibers.
Now it is clear that the company will start raising prices in early 2011.

Wim Warnier, chief executive of the nonwovens department, explained: "although positive measures have been taken to improve our operational efficiency and cost structure, we have to adjust our sales price according to the substantial increase in raw material costs.
There is a strong demand in the emerging markets due to the shortage of cotton sources in the world (from the use of cotton to polyester in spinning enterprises), and the shortage of the main raw materials for the production of polyester staple and viscose staple fibers. These factors lead us to adjust the selling price.
In order to continue to provide quality services and products to our customers, we must raise our prices, and at the same time, support our investment in many product development so as to help customers develop their businesses.
