Introduction: Noriyuki Horihata entered the Institute of culture and clothing after graduation from the Graduate School of lesbian University and studied fashion design. Akiko Sekiguchi studied at Xinglin University before entering the cultural clothing Institute to learn costume design. When two people graduated from university in 1998, two people in 5 years went on to do different clothing brands. In 2003, two people went to London, England to work together for the London Fashion Week, autumn and winter. In March 2005, the two returned to Japan and co founded their own company, LEWSTEN, and then set up their own clothing brand matohu. Since March 2006, new clothing products have been released on fashion week in Tokyo.

Matohu is a Japanese fashion brand founded by Noriyuki Horihata and Akiko Sekiguchi. It may not be new to many people who are more concerned about Japanese brands. This brand is very harmonious in color application. These two designers once worked for the famous fashion brands Yohji Yamamoto and Rei Kawakubo, and were deeply influenced by them.
