Italy Intends To Revise Sales Rules For Textiles, Leather Goods And Footwear
Italy issued a circular in November 15, 2010, and the Ministry of economic development of Italy intends to amend it.

The decree contains 4 articles:
- the first section details information that must be included in the normative documents provided for the finished and semi-finished products intended for sale (providing each stage of manufacturing and observing the applicable national and international standards).
- the second article specifies the requirements that must be met in the industry for the purpose of using the "made in Italy" logo within the scope of the law. The same provision also stipulates that the final substantive pformation of such products must be carried out in Italy in order to use the "made in Italy" logo.

Where there is clearly documented completion of the documents at each stage, and there is not enough evidence to prove that a certain stage should be presumed to be completed abroad, the tracing of the manufacturing stage should be regarded as a witness.
- fourth designated chambers of Commerce, trades, handicrafts and agricultural associations (CCIAA) have the right labels for products that are allowed to enter the market and perform inspections for the use of "made in Italy" signs; according to law fifty-fifth of 2010, the designated handicraft handicrafts and agricultural associations are the institutions responsible for Issuing Administrative penalties and suspending manufacturing activities of repeated violations; the article states that the inspections specified under the provisions do not exclude all monitoring and management normally carried out by the administrative police or customs inspection.
