According to analysis, the sample fabric is polyester fiber, and carrier dyeing process is commonly used in polyester fiber and blended products dyeing process, and many chlorinated organic carriers (such as three chlorobenzene, two chlorobenzene, etc.) are cheap and efficient dyeing carrier.

The EU 76/769/EEC directive stipulates that Member States must limit the use and sale of certain dangerous substances and preparations in the form of laws, regulations or administrative provisions. Substances that are listed in the priority control blacklist will not be allowed to be found in any final products. In this blacklist, chlorinated organic carriers are listed in them, with the limit of 1.0mg/kg.

After testing, the cushion contains chlorinated benzenes such as 1,2- two chlorobenzene, 1,2,4- three chlorobenzene, five chlorobenzene and other chlorinated organic carriers, with a total content of 1.63mg/kg, which exceeds 63% of the prescribed limit, and does not meet the standard requirements.

Export textile manufacturers are prone to overlook chemical safety hazards. There are two main reasons for this analysis: first, some textile manufacturers do not have a strong sense of risk and blindly rely on raw materials supplied by raw materials suppliers.
