It is necessary and urgent to carry out the related research work. Since 2010, members of the Secretariat of the shoe making Committee have begun to conduct careful and meticulous investigation and interview work with all opportunities to contact with the outside world. They have visited, inquired, communicated and listened to the voices of various sectors and experts and consumers in different fields, and listened to the voices from all walks of life, and summarized and collated the collected information.

(2) a large number of domestic and foreign literatures have been consulted to understand the latest research developments in relevant fields, to understand the response of the market to the relevant problems, and to understand the role of related work in the development of China's footwear industry.

(3) on the basis of full investigation, market analysis and research technology level analysis, the organizers again sent questionnaires to relevant experts and scholars on the related work that needed to be carried out in the future. This work was enthusiastically responded and supported by experts and scholars, and sent out 21 questionnaires and 20 feedback.

At this point, the theme of this conference was finally determined - footwear comfort, the purpose of this conference - brainstorming, opening up the way, and serving the industry.

After the meeting was sent out, we immediately received enthusiastic responses from scholars, experts and entrepreneurs from universities, research institutes, sanitary and anti bacterial associations, Leather Association, shoe last design, footwear production, shoe material production, sporting goods production and so on. Everyone's enthusiasm far exceeded the expectations of the Preparatory Committee. Thanks to the size of the meeting, we thanked the needs of many participants.

Secretary Qi Xiaoxia first introduced the purpose and preparatory work of the symposium, and gave a brief speech to launch a discussion.

Experts and scholars from all aspects of the seminar conducted a comprehensive discussion from all angles: the summary of the existing domestic research work, the discussion of relevant indicators for future research, the influence of shoe last design and shoe last standard series on comfort, from the kinematic point of view, the analysis of the relationship between foot pressure and static dynamic movements, the influence of hygiene on footwear comfort, the description of comfort and related factors, the design of comfortable footwear, etc. Finally, Yan Huai Dao senior consultant expressed his thanks to everyone's active participation, and summarized the concept of comfort and related factors.

This seminar fully embodies the spirit of academic democracy and strengthens communication and discussion.

Experts and scholars participating in the talks and discussions were all active, enthusiastic and free, forming a relaxed and equal atmosphere for academic exchanges.

Following the heated discussion of experts from various angles and levels, we reached the following two points:

1. definition of comfort:

Footwear comfort is a comprehensive evaluation of the psychological and physiological feelings of shoes in the process of wearing. It refers to the degree that shoes conform to the requirements of human foot structure and function.

It mainly includes: foot fit, functionality, inside shoe environment, etc.

2. comfort factors:

(1) fitness: the size of shoes, the matching of shoes and feet, the pressure of shoes to feet, etc.

(2) functionality: stability, shock absorption, softness, skidproof, lightweight, etc.

(3) the internal environment of shoes: moisture absorption, permeability, hygiene and so on.

Through this meeting, footwear comfort has finally been defined.

We all agree that the study of footwear comfort in China will not only promote the progress of China's footwear industry, but also make progress in China's footwear industry.
