Belgium's underwear brand Marie Jo L'Aventure and Belgium fashion brand A.F.Vandevorst cooperate to launch the 2010 autumn winter underwear series.

This design has a simple and abstract artistic sense, which is a major breakthrough of the brand.

The series has only six underwear, named Marie Jo L'Aventure by A.F.Vandevorst.

This design fully reflects the different definitions of form. Designers use tactile material, new printing and dyeing technology and combination method to highlight and emphasize the feminine contour.

Although the first cross brand cooperation was chosen by domestic designers, Fabienne Dewulf, the design director of Marie Jo L'Aventure, said their goal was to work with designers from all over the world.

These designers can come from such fields as visual arts, photography, product design, dance and music.

This cross brand cooperation gives A.F.Vandevorst designers An Vandevorst and Filip Arickx a lot of free creative space. They seem to be envisaging future underwear trends.

The unique feature of this design is that the designer uses a specially designed three dimensional wooden form to produce a series of modular chest models.

Designer Arickx explains this: "we want to create real hand underwear, and the wooden mannequin is more realistic than the plastic mannequin we have been using.

Although the material we choose is rough at first glance, it is made from realistic super soft material printed with realistic photographs, creating a simulation printing effect.

The series will be on sale in various stores in mid September.
