Burke, President and chief executive officer of the AAFA, welcomed the announcement by the US and Columbia that they had found a way to advance the long term stagnation of the US Columbia free trade agreement.

He said: "the United States and Columbia announced that they have found a long-term freedom to advance.

"Since 2006, this agreement has been stagnant because of uncertainties.

I am glad to see that the negotiators of the two countries have found solutions, and American families, American workers and companies will benefit from this free trade agreement.
