Recently, the seventh COCOON Cup China International Women's wear designer Grand Prix held a news conference at Beijing Hotel, announcing that the professional competition, which was praised by many domestic designers as "Whampoa Military Academy of China's fashion design industry" and "the event of changing the fate of Chinese designers", was officially launched. It is understood that this competition will start soliciting the draft from now on. It will be published in early July, and will make a preliminary evaluation and reassessment. It will be held in Hangzhou in late September. Different from the previous competition, the competition was first set up for review, and 30 designers were selected from the first 50 players through the practice ability assessment and interview.

As an important part of China's outstanding women's wear designer's discovery plan implemented by the Hangzhou municipal government, the China International Women's costume designer Grand Prix, based on the "discovery plan", aims to select a group of outstanding design talents to go to Europe's first class design institute every year for one to two years of further education. At present, the four batch of 24 designers of women's wear has been selected to study in Italy and France through the China International Women's costume designer Grand Prix. 6 of them are coming back to China, 6 are studying in Italy, and 12 have graduated from home. The experience of studying abroad for a year has given them a clearer orientation and direction for their career. At present, these people have become the backbone of the development of Hangzhou women's clothing rapidly.

According to the organizers, the seventh "COCOON Cup" China International Women's wear designer Grand Prix aims at cultivating excellent professional designers. The theme of this contest is "my brand my dream", and encourages designers to show their unique views on the fashion trend of women's wear.
